HANNOVER, GERMANY, EARLY 1900s                             "Hannover : The Eilenriede : Children's Playground"

While this picture is titled "Children's playground", there seems to be nothing familiar for children to play on/in. Perhaps it was more of a sitting area for parents with small children.
The building in the rear seems to be a rain shelter, and perhaps some toilets.

The Eilenriede was and still is a "forest-park" in the middle of Hannover, kind of akin to Central Park in NY. The park was first donated to the people in 1371.
